Cricks was founded in 1995 when Garry Crick bought the Nissan and Mitsubishi franchises in Nambour on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Garry acquired further dealerships in the years that followed before partnering with John Eastham in 2005. In fact Garry and John are now Autopact 12 Lives's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer as well as being owners of the Autopact 12 Lives Group.
The Crick business today, comprises 11 dealerships representing 23 new car brands. and covering locations in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Tweed Heads, and Rockhampton.
All of the Crick dealerships have a Dealer Principal who is an owner in that dealership and a local in that community. Across Queensland and NSW, the dealerships employ approximately 600 local people, who live our 'drive away happy' mission.
